Early Head Start
Each Early Head Start enrolled child will be assessed yearly by his/her teacher within the first 45 days of enrollment. In addition, the child's parent will also be given the opportunity to complete an e-DECA screening. Track findings on the DECA Class Composite. |
Head Start
Head Start enrolled children will be assessed as needed. |
After Screening
Refer to the e-DECA Instructions for guidance on running reports and accessing strategies. Suggested strategies based on the child's areas of strength and areas of need are tied to Conscious Discipline®. There are lists of strategies for the classroom as well as strategies for parents try at home.
