e-DECA 2.0


The e-DECA 2.0 is a strength-based assessment and planning system designed to promote resilience in children ages birth through five.
Reference the e-DECA Instructions below for guidance on creating new child accounts, inputting ratings, and viewing reports. Ratings will be completed in your online account. Click on the link below to visit the website.

Early Head Start
Each Early Head Start enrolled child will be assessed yearly by his/her teacher within the first 45 days of enrollment. In addition, the child's parent will also be given the opportunity to complete an e-DECA screening. Track findings on the ASQ and DECA Class Composite form found here.
Head Start
Head Start enrolled children will be assessed as needed.
After Screening
Refer to the e-DECA Instructions for guidance on running reports and accessing strategies. Suggested strategies based on the child's areas of strength and  areas of need are tied to Conscious Discipline®. There are lists of strategies for the classroom as well as strategies for parents try at home.
